Keurig B40 Elite in terms of pricing is the lowest amongst all the keurig model but this does not mean that its functionality is in any way discounted. In fact, other than some frills, the brewing capability is equally mean.

Currently, the coffee market "flavor of the month" belongs to the single serve coffee maker, and out of them keurig coffee maker stands out as one of the more popular model.

Ease of use and ease of maintenance are two variables that lead to the rapid take up rate for the single coffee maker.

For brewer like the keurig b40, other than the value add of a single serve, its popularity is mainly due to the huge variety of flavors that it is able to afford to the consumers and also ability to have different drinks.

Imagine having the choice of drinking a Gloria Jeans coffee or a Green Mountain cappuccino, that is the choice of coffee you would have, but that is not all.

You can even brew tea for folks that just love to drink it, and of course hot chocolate for your kids that should not be touching caffeine at their age.

Well, you get the point that keurig coffee maker is good, but this article is about the keurig b40, so if you would to get them, what do you have? Everything that keurig can afford but at a much lower price.

This keurig brewer is what I call the evergreen discount model, i.e. they are always on promotion. So, their pricing never exceed $100. Sure, you would go to some sites that would charge you over a hundred dollars, but these are the rare ones.

The important thing is, with this b40 from keurig, you would still be getting the same sized water reservoir, be using the same k-cup, have the ability to use the k-cup reusable coffee filter and of course it would still brew you the same great beverage.

If you want an analogy, think of the b40 as a value meal from Mac Donald, and the B50 and B60 as the up sized meal. The other models are better, but you might not need them.
