Things about Glass Carafe That You
Do Not Know About

One type of coffee carafe is the glass carafe. Since it is made of glass, then it is transparent. Its transparency makes it sophisticated.

You can easily see the amount of coffee in it. Therefore, it would be easy for you to decide if you will make another pot of coffee or not.

Usually, there are cup levels that serve as it marks. This will guide you with the amount of coffee that you will make.

Moreover, these marks can be used so that you will know how much water must be added to the coffee so that it will taste good.

You can include this in cleaning your dishes. Glass carafe tends to be popular for many people. However, there are still some properties that are not well known to many costumers.

These properties are as follows.

1. Some carafe can withstand heat up to 2 hours, keeping your coffee hot and fresh for up to 2 hours. Since it has a lid, it has the capability to maintain the hotness of the coffee for 2 hours.

The lid is made from polypropylene and it can be fitted tightly.

However, to use this carafe, you have to place it in a heated plate so that it can keep the coffee warm. And using a heated place is not good all the times.

It will make the coffee tastes lousy if it is placed there for many hours. Moreover, if you will turn off the heater, the coffee will easily get cold.

2. There are OEM universal carafes that can be used to replace the original -it is cheaper.

If you had damaged your carafe, there is no need to buy a new one.

Instead, buy a replacement carafe. You can save money in doing this.

The replacement carafe can function well as your original one. Even if they are just for replacement matters, still they provide the service that you want.

You can also choose from different designs that are available.

Choose one that you find beautiful and attractive. This will add to your appetite in drinking your coffee.

Also, more people will love to drink the coffee that it contains, since they find the container attractive.

3. Glass carafe are not necessarily cheaper or lower cost than the thermal carafes, although the latter is much more useful in retaining heat and keeping coffee fresh.

Usually, glass ones are cheaper than thermal carafes. However, this is not always the case. There are some that are expensive than thermal.

Thermal carafes have tops that are closable. When these tops are closed properly, the coffee will remain warm for how many hours.

Unlike glass, there is no need to use a heated plate here. Thus, the coffee will remain its taste for the whole time duration.

These properties of glass carafe are important, however, they lack attention. It is good to be aware of these, because these can help you in deciding which coffee carafe to buy.
