Augmented Reality Games to Play on Zoom Meeting

We did not actually create games to play on zoom meeting, we did a game to play on Microsoft teams. That being said, it can be used for any platforms that is doing an video conferencing meeting.

This is an augmented reality game that was created for an AR SkillsFuture Class during the COVID-19 period. Because of social distancing and the lockdown in Singapore (know as a circuit breaker), the class is conducted fully online.

One of AR value add is engagement, the technology is great, how the game turns out depends on the gameplay. The thinking behind the game is more important than the technology (case in point: Pokemon Go - how many of you switch on the AR function while playing it?)

The game that is create here is a hybrid between a treasure and scavenger hunt, we call this a “Needle in a Haystack” game. In this case, this how we used AR, but it can also be used for other fun games such as trivia questions, using it to play pictionary, or even using it to play charades.
