The words Ascaso espresso machine may mean nothing to your average Joe, but to the coffee lover, the three words are synonymous with excellent quality and impeccable performance.

Though relatively new in the coffee industry, Ascaso has built a reputation for itself and is recognized for its quality and uniquely designed espresso machines.

Founded in Barcelona, Spain in 1962, this company has grown to become one of the brands of choice in the European market and has been gaining recognition in the North American market.

The company started out by manufacturing spare parts but over 40 years has expanded to making a range of products including the grinder and espresso machines.

Ascaso espresso machines come in colorful and unique designs carried by their Ascaso Arc espresso machines and Ascaso Dream espresso machines.

And because the espresso machine can get very hot when in use, the top of the espresso machine has been ingeniously designed to act as a cup warmer, with a rail around the sides and back to prevent the cups from falling off. The Steel Duo also doesn't take up too much counter space and it has "rubberized feet" which allows the machine to stay in place on most counter tops.

All in all, the Ascaso Steel Duo is an excellent choice for those who want an espresso machine with commercial perks. With a price range of around $1000, you won't find a better deal for a dual boiler espresso machine.
