After I started writing for 2009, then 2010, I thought I would make it a ritual to write every year and update readers on ME.
Thank God, 2010 has been a great year, with many pages added to this site and many new happy moments in my life as well.
My family was able to grow and experience his blessings and even go for a holiday to visit my daughter favorite animal -Kangaroo.
So 2010 was great, what about 2011? Would it be better?
Moving forward in 2011, other than the usual reviews on coffee makers and coffee company news, I would be adding on some new services.
I think before moving on, some of you like past readers, might want to know who I am actually.
Some readers asked me what makes me "good" enough to give out all these recommendations and reviews about coffee makers?
Well, I am not a guru, in fact I don't even know what the criteria to be a coffee maker reviewer guru is. I review every coffee maker based on one thing -YOU.
Of course, working for a coffee company and reading tons of literature on other coffee machines (to discredit them and place our own machines) gave me some insights, but mainly it is about the shopper behavior (read more about this in how we choose coffee makers).
Then, of course I have some "credentials" and followings as well being in this field for so long:
More 20 over thousands down at Twitter "listen" to my tweets daily
Close to 20 over thousands subscribed to my "RSS Feeds" (Google it if you do not know what it is).
In addition, I am an expert author in ezine, allexpert and some other review sites.
I am happy to share that the fanpage that was created for this site is really being "liked" by many coffee lovers and at the time of writing, we have more than 10000 fans liking it (have you like it yet, liked it too lah...:)
This is to let you know that, you are not listening to "some" sources but one that knows what he is talking about.
And since I know what I am talking about...
I started talking about one coffee maker, then two, and now I have more than 1200 pages on the different coffee makers.
And since 2009, I have been talking about a topic that is very close to my heart (coffee companies), giving out my two cents on the strategies that these companies use to propel their growth.
It has found some very loyal audiences, and with so many people asking me for advice and consultation, I thought why not open out a few channels to see if I can further value add to these coffee companies.
And since announcing it, there are some interested parties, so I would be adding these new services:
Coffee machine rental
This is a service that is within Singapore (my residence country) for offices and F&B outlets to look for and rent machines at an affordable cost.
Sales of Espresso machines
I would also have a page that is dedicated to selling espresso machine again for my Singaporean folks.
Coffee Shop Marketing
I am also segmenting a portion of my time to helping companies to better market their coffee shops or F&B outlets in the hyper competitive F&B scene in Singapore.
The team is growing
Of course, what is expansion without growing the size of the company right. Currently, I am assisted by two researchers on coffee and coffee machines (where else do you think I have so many news to share?).
And recently, we welcome a new graphic designer into our team.
I am looking at ending this year with a team of probably between 6-10 people, so probably would welcome some more new members into our company.
Some upgrades to the site and more freebies
One of my most popular page -free coffee would be given a revamp and there would be more and consistent goodies and freebies being given out.

Given the interest from various coffee companies, there would be some interesting contest and promotions coming out this year as well -so again, be in the loop to be informed.

Some of you asked me if I do not drink coffee, how could I be reviewing coffee?
Now, the situation is I like tea, but that does not mean I don't drink coffee -so I do drink coffee.
I am not a expert but folks that have been following my updates, know that my strength in the coffee business value chain is more towards the strategic management of this business -and that is how I managed to value add to some of the companies:)
