ZANZIBAR!!!

Most espresso machines are wayyyy to much for the simple fact that you can get the best qualities for a cheaper price. You just have to do it manually.

The Italian Stove top Zanzibar espresso maker is awesome. I took it from my parents. It resembles the Bialetti stove top (aluminum).

It makes the best, fresh, hot, and extremely quick espresso for at least 6 people. I can not find the exact one anymore.

But I have replaced the gasket!!! I still continue to make espresso every morning. At the convenience of my own home. It is GREAT!

Is Zanzibar is in business? NEW

I have a 15 cup Zanzibar coffee maker, my wifes family bouhgt it back from Italy. The inside of the boiler pot has 1971 stamped inside. The bottom has the Zanzibar name along with Made in Italy and the number 103. What is the 103?

Anybody have replacement parts? My 6 cup Zanzibar maker's handle is gone and the Bialetti doesn't fit . . . grrr.

I have two Zanzibar stove top pots that I have had since the mid 70's. One is a 6 cup and the other is a one cup. I use them more than I do my electric one as the taste is better.

Zanzibar and Biaietti NEW

I have one of each and take them camping. We group camp and I make a pot of regular espresso and one of decafe. I do not get the point of decafe espresso but friends and family ask for it and I accommodate. Gaskets last for years but recently all the shops that carried them stopped. Thank goodness for the internet. It is beautiful sight to lift the lid and watch the rich brown liquid ooze for the center spire. I usually reduce the heat to avoid excess sputtering at the end of the brew.
