Single serve coffee instead of under counter coffee maker?

This is with regards to one question that a surfer has posed and I would like to see what is the response with regards to this: for people looking for under counter coffee maker, do you think it is alright for them to be using single serve coffee maker as well? My thought come from the fact that single cup coffee maker do not take up much space. Look forward to comments and reply...

Who you are

I guess it boils down to who you are and what you are comfortable with using it. If you are someone that is in a rush then I guess, single serve would be the best solution.

Just a coffee maker

I do not know much about under cabinet coffee maker, in fact it is only recently that I am aware that the keurig coffee maker which I am using is a single serve coffee brewers. But, it doesn't matter what I know or do not know, I enjoyed the use of the single serve machine and would like to say that I do not think any other machines can replaces it.

The ease of use

There is something that under counter can never provide (if we are talking about black and decker) and that is the ease of use. Basically, the under cabinet is still about using filter to brew coffee which is much more work compared to say a k cups or a t disc.

Maybe it is the "look and feel"

You might be surprised but some times people that bought under cabinet actually wanted to "hide" their coffee machine. They are doing this so that it would disrupt their kitchen decor. Interesting as it might be, there exist a group of folks that do not want people to see their coffee machine!

I understand the point that you are making, but personally I think it is a case of people not being aware of such an appliance. Think about it, if the size of the brewer is small and it can make coffee easily, why people would not be interested in it right?
