Need some help on my B66 Keurig

by Patrick
(Singapore)

I brought this machine back from the US & used to work then.

In SG, I bought a step down transformer (220v to 110v 3000w transformer) to use with this machine but I only got a whirring sound when I switched it on - no menu lights.

Can you advise Do you think I need to use a more powerful transformer as I read somewhere that coffee machines can take up to 3 times the specified wattage - on the coffee machine baseplate it stated as 1500W.

Hence a transformer with 5000W ?

Tks

From Oncoffeemakers: Hi Patrick, I am making this post live to see if there is more information coming in from other readers, on our end, my first suspect is the traveler convertor, it is designed to handle the load?
