Medelco #4 Gold Tone Coffee Filter

This is a great alternative to coffee makers that use #4 filters. I bought one for my Braun Coffeemaker because my old filter got a few small tears and holes.

A word of caution though, to those who are thinking about using permanent filters instead of paper filters: If your grounds are too fine, some of it will slip through the filter, leaving residue in your coffee.

And worse, they tend to clog the filter, making it harder to clean.

Coffee does taste better when using a gold tone filter. Just get the grounds right and you won't be disappointed.
