Lessening The Pain

I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband does not live with me. We are not separated or anything like that but he has to work abroad because of financial reasons. We have lots of dreams for us and to be able to attain them we both have made a decision that one of us should work abroad for a number of years. It's sad especially during the holidays but the internet helps us bridge the gap and the million miles between us.

In order for me not to feel his missing presence at home, he gave me a single cup coffee machine. In that way, the feeling of loneliness lessens because there is no left over coffee. It helps.
