There is no need for coffee maker ratings on the "machine" that we have at home. How do you rate a pair of hands and a wealth of experience in brewing coffee? After more than 20 over years of brewing coffee, she no longer need to think how much sugar, how much water or when the water would simmer after boiling to brew the best coffee. She makes great coffee (at least that is what my family thinks), but can you rate that? She uses many different coffee makers throughout the years, but the standard remains the same, so how do you explain that?:)
