carafe NEW
by: Sharron Hynes

The problem with the new, 1 week old, Tim Hortons coffee maker, is the carafe with has such a small pouring spout the coffee is all over the counter before the cup is full.

Top canister leak NEW
by: Anonymous

The top of the canister that holds the water and heating element leaks. That is also why it takes longer to brew a cup of coffee: the steam is escaping between the canister and it's lid and so it does not heat as fast (and I'm pretty sure, over time, the amount of scale inside the the canister also prevents efficient heat transfer.). It looks like ,during manufacture, the lid is placed on the top of the canister with some kind of high temp grey/silver caulking on it, and then 6 tabs on the lid are bent around the top of the canister and electro-welded onto the canister. The leak is through the caulking. They could double the amount of tabs on the lid to cure this problem, or , for gosh sakes, weld the entire lid to the canister. They must have their reasons.

Colossal OVERPRICED piece of sh-t! NEW
by: MK

I made the mistake of buying into the T.H. name as well as the BUNN name. (Paid $145 CDN for it) Worked fine for about a month. I live alone. Make 1/2 a pot of coffee every morning. Eventually it began leaking, as well as becoming very hit and miss in terms of making the # of cups intended. You tend to lose 1 cup in the brewing process but it takes a while to figure this out not to mention how much coffee you waste discovering its idiosyncrasies. I've shelved it; and have switched to a single serve machine that's been rock solid reliable. I'm so profoundly disappointed with this TH Bunn machine not to mention feeling like a total chump for having bought it. To anyone contemplating forking out the ridiculous cost, SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy a $20-$30 coffee maker at Wal-Mart. It will be infinitely more reliable and give you a decent tasting cup of coffee (or a single serve machine.)

Very Disappointed ! NEW
by: Barry B.B.

I own the Bunn NHS model. This is the second one I've owned.
The first one had to be replaced, as it started leaking water from somewhere underneath.

After researching, I found there were a bunch made, that had a defect that caused this water issue.

In 2014, another was purchased as a replacement.
Well, it's happened again! SAME PROBLEM! Unexplained water leaking from underneath!

At this price point, the quality is VERY low-par! This should not happen for the cost of these makers.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE BUNN PRODUCTS. Spend less, and get another product, from another manufacturer.

Defective Tim's Coffee Makers NEW
by: Elmo1956

We purchased our third Tim coffee maker, over approx. 12 - 14 years, last summer (2014) and had to return it twice in the first 3 weeks, because it was leaking from underneath somewhere. We were finally informed on the last visit by one of the employees at the store that Tim's had received a whole shipment of defective coffee makers that all were having the same issues of leaking from underneath somewhere. It would have been nice if they would have stepped up to the plate and did a recall or something. We haven't had any issues with the third one that we got last summer (2014).

Pissed off customer NEW
by: Anonymous

I have had a Tim hortens coffee model nhbx-b , it' has been pretty good to me (had it 4 years) now the coffee is not as hot ,as I suspect the tank heater is the problem. Who ever writes the programs for parts replacement for bunn or Tim horten ; is a friggen moron. I should be able to see a diagram of every part on this machine also a list of them and how much. I shouldn't spend half the f"@&&$g day trying to research this . It should be as simple as typing in the model. If it's dis continued... Say so! If it has upgraded or compatible part , say so! If any one can steer me in the right direction .. Feel free

leak NEW
by: Anonymous

It leaks from the seal between where the water is poured in and the stainless steel cylinders. There is a youtube video somewhere on how to fix it, but it requires a very specific washer that I haven't been able to find. It is pretty annoying that such a known flaw isn't addressed by the company. If you want to try it, you can pop the top off and have a look under the white plastic bobble. There is a thick rubber seal under it.

Fixed! NEW

Mine leaked as well, and with a little inspecting, found the fill basin has deteriorated around the hole where the water flows into the tank. I repaired it with high temperature silicone, but would like to buy a new fill basin. Any ideas where to buy one??

leak problem
by: Anonymous

money's worth from this maker. I wil I've had my maker for 18 years (no shame)without a problem. It just started leaking and I believe the leak is caused by the holding tray on top. If you take off the caver you will see the tray. Take out the screw on top of the fill tube and you will find a gasket which may be replaced but I am a bit concerned about water around the electricity. I found that the tray itself has begun to rot away. A bigger, or homemade gasket, may work but I think I got my money's worth I will buy another.

Leaking bunn

I fixed the leak. Take off the top cover and unscrew the fill funnel metal bolt/fill spout and you will find the gasket has hardened. I bought some gasket from home hardware. Cut to fit and reinstalled
No leak for months
