MU Parlour café has an eclectic décor, which means mixing and matching elements of different styles. It can either look beautifully eclectic or haphazard and chaotic. It’s to highlight the independent beauty of each piece. I thought MU Parlour did it quite well. Overall, the place looked warm and inviting and I especially like the white patio bistro chairs and table as it reminded me of the time when I was having coffee with my loved one at a alfresco bistro in Paris.
I ordered Kahlua Tiramisu. The first bite of it tasted quite sweet and the alcohol taste was barely there. The coffee taste only got stronger after a few bites and the mascarpone cheese was not creamy enough. I didn’t really enjoy it and I don’t think it’s worth paying $8 for it.
The Cubano that I drank had a fruity taste and it left a bitter sweet aftertaste. The aroma of the coffee wasn’t strong enough. Overall, I didn’t really like it.
I am not sure if I will be back though. The ambience is the only thing I like about the place. There are too many other choices nearby.
