Best coffee grinder is key to good coffee

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Best coffee grinder search would definitely not be as high as best coffee makers. This is understandable as most people would buy coffee that is grind and sealed. The technology has come to a stage that your sealed coffee can retain the flavor for up to 2 years.

However, folks that have tried freshly ground and brew coffee would not settle for any other replacement and it is for this group of folks that this best coffee grinder is being written.

Grinder is different from coffee maker where there is a make that is meant for everyone, personally I take the stand that one should always use a burr grinder regardless of the situation.

Many people has mistakenly thought that it is alright to use a blade grinder is you need coarse ground, such as for french press. But that is a very wrong concept. Blade grinder does not give you only coarse ground but also uneven and inconsistent ground.

best-coffee-grinder The result of inconsistent ground is either under extraction or over extraction of your coffee. So, you would either be getting bitter or tasteless coffee. If this is not something you are looking forward to, then forget totally about using blade grinder.

Now, let' say you buy my arguement and stick to burr coffee grinder, which of them is the best? Well, once we are in this group, you can probably use the 4 Ps highlighted in my best coffee makers article to evaluate and choose the grinder.

But, if you do not have a tight budget and has the counter space, I would recommend the Kitchenaid pro line KPCG100. It weights 10 pounds, and we all know that weight is a positive element to have when it comes to grinding and as it is make of metal and glass, it is a very good looking piece of appliance which I am sure you want to show off.

My pick of best coffee grinder can do very fine and also consistent grind, and I cannot think of any complain with regards to its grinding. If you want to know the difference between this and other grinding operation.

Simply use your normal house blade grinder to grind some coffee then use this kitchenaid pro line KPCG100 and you can immediately see the difference.

To sum up, no matter which best coffee grinder you want to choose, do it within the burr grinder category if you want better coffee, hope this helps to better your coffee experience.
