I have been a barista for a long time. I am very well versed in using a commercial espresso machine.
But when I come home, I also like having espresso during breakfast. At home, I use a regular home espresso machine.
In my opinion, when I compare both the commercial espresso machine to the home espresso machine, I see a couple of differences.
I think using a commercial espresso machine brings out the best taste in my coffee for the pressure is higher in the commercial machine, it produces better espresso.
Using a home machine, it also produces a good espresso, but not as good compared to the commercial machine.
I really think that it has something to do with the pressure.
