I purchased this kitchenaid coffee maker for my wife as a gift, but after a couple of months of using, it finally broke.

It was a lot of hassle to be able to get a replacement coffee maker. I have to ship in my receipt, wait for them to process it, and wait again for them to ship me my new coffee maker.

The price of this coffee maker is high compared to other durable coffee makers out there.

Instead of buying this, I suggest that you just buy a single serve coffee maker. Other than it is priced cheaper than most coffee makers, single serve coffee maker produces a great tasting and fresh coffee everytime.
