Coffee Makers That Use K Cups

Coffee Makers That Use K Cups

If you're not familiar with Keurig, I guess that's the easiest way to distinguish it from the various coffee makers out there, single cup or not.

The other coffeemakers use coffee pods, coffee capsules, and T Discs. But for now, since you're reading about Keurig, all you have to think about are the K Cups.

What are K Cups anyway? Well, to make it simple, you simply insert the K Cup into the Keurig Coffee Brewer and start brewing.

Therefore, the K Cup totally eliminates your need to measure, grind, and transfer beans into your Keurig Brewer.

On top of that, there is virtually no need to clean your Keurig Brewer after use. Just remove the K Cup.

There are hundreds of varieties of K Cups, each having its own distinct flavor. If you opt to, you can enjoy a different flavor for each day of the week.

Keurig coffee machine NEW
by: Irene

I purchased a Keurig coffee maker 6 months ago the screen on top kept flashing. The coffee no matter what size was programed in only left 1 oz in cup. Then the screen on top kept going crazy, unable to stop it. Then when I put the plug back in the wall sparks came out of the cord and machine. Machine died. I am now looking to replace and possibly go with another brand.

Descaling issue from above NEW
by: Christine

We had the same descaling issue with ours, which we also bought used from the internet. We call Kuerig and gave them some numbers off the bottom of the machine and they told us that the machine was still under warranty and sent us another machine. The operator also said that although there has been no recall on several of the first versions of the machine, that they frequently have this issue. Not only did we get a brand new machine but the three year warranty began all over again for this machine and we haven't had any issues with it at all in the last two years. It's totally worth it.

Keurig Reliability?
by: Anonymous

I bought a used Keurig (an expensive one) about a year ago, worked fine till last month. Called for "Descale" which I did and worked fine again until a few days ago. Showed the word "Descale" again, so I again used the vinegar etc. And today its showing Descale yet again and not brewing. So I'm wondering if there is a more reliable brand of coffee maker out there that uses K=cups or is a year or so all these types of coffee makers lasts. Seems quite expensive to buy one every year.

How to Make Sourdough Bread? 1. Mix sourdough started, flour, and salt together2. Knead dough until passes the “window pane test”. 2.1 That is, a small piece of dough will stretch between four fingers thin enough to allow light to pass through without breaking. 3. Place in a proofing basket4. Proof for 4-24 hours 5. Slice an X shape on top of the loaf with a sharp knife. 5.1. This is to allow the loaf to expand during baking without splitting in unexpected places. 6. Bake at 200 degrees for 30-60 minutes
