Buying my Krups coffee maker is probably one of the best appliance purchase we did.

It really worked well and we love to use it everyday.

Although you can use the coffee machine without these filters, I don't think it would taste as well, plus the filters trap any sediment or stray coffee grounds and extend the life of the coffee maker.
