Even the coffee aroma was not that great with krups KM1000

On the day I bought and used this coffee maker, I I think I had not placed the carafe fully in the chamber, but the coffee brewed anyway and spilled all over the floor.

Shortly thereafter, the plastic lid broke when I attempted to remove it to wash the carafe.

I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to see about a replacement, which is not available.

Their display set had the exact same break in the lid.

Pouring water into the reservoir from the carafe results in spilled water, and coffee also spills/drips when pouring.

I don't understand the quality of this coffee maker because all this machine brought me were problems.

Even the coffee aroma was not that great with this machine.
