Cuisinart Coffee Filters

I've been using a gold tone filter with my Cuisinart DCC-1200 for over a year now. Using a gold tone filter is great, as I don't worry about paper filters anymore.

However, when using a gold tone filter, or any permanent filter, it's important to be more careful with the grinds.

Too fine, and you're going to get grounds in your coffee. Other than that, it works great. I generally just handwash my filter, and I guess that helps it from getting tears and holes.
