This carafe is tougher than you think. I have purchased this as a replacement for my old carafe that was dropped by my daughter and naturally, it shattered to pieces.

But this one is really tough and it actually survives minor bumps in the counter or bumps in the faucet.

This is also very easy to clean and the design of the carafe makes it really easy to pour coffee without drippings all over.
