Gotta love my Bunn NHBX-B 10-Cup Coffee Brewer

Bunn NHBX-B 10-Cup Coffee Brewer

I just gotta love my Bunn NHBX-B 10-Cup Coffee Brewer. My first encounter with a Bunn Coffee Maker was at my Aunt's home. She always made a good cup of coffee but this visit was different.

We had been out shopping, one of our usual shop till you drop adventures. After helping carry her packages in, she offered me a quick cup of coffee. I needed to be home soon and was going to say no, when I realized she had already measured coffee into the filter.

I sat down, waiting for the usual drip, drip, drip. Before I could even take my jacket off she was pouring out hot, steaming, aromatic coffee!!

I couldn't help asking, "how did you do that so quickly?" Her reply, " I bought one of those Bunn Coffee Makers like they have in restaurants."

Well naturally I had to have one. I mean just the possibilities of having coffee that quick in the morning let alone all day was just too good to pass up.

So I purchased my beloved Bunn, several years ago. We are still as happy as can be. I've had absolutely no problems with this product.

I did notice in other reviews about a vacation setting, and turn the maker off. I'm not familiar with these terms. My Bunn is always ready for action.

I purchase my coffee at the grocery store. No special blends or fancy flavors. Just good ol joe the way my mama makes it.

Of course I do add sugar and coffee creamer, hmmm maybe that has something to do with the taste.

For those of you buying your first Bunn, each time you make coffee, say two cups, that's the amount of water you pour into the reservoir. It's just like other coffee makers in that respect.

To clean, I place the pot in the dishwasher (run at night while I'm sleeping) and clean the filter holder after each use with a very small amount of dish soap, and rinse thoroughly.

As I've already mentioned I have never used the vacation mode but I guess it's there somewhere if your so inclined to use it.
