Would you pay $150 000 for coffee? No way! Who in the right mind would be paying so much money right?

Then what about $3 for a cuppa? If you think this amount is fair, and you are a coffee drinker, then you are not far from paying that amount.

In a research conducted by www.reabur.com, it shows that on average folks in UK drink 4 cups of coffee (or tea) per day when working.

This worked out to be 20 cups per week, or 1040 cups per year. I am not factoring in the days that they are not working, because I want to calculate the drinks that they would buy and it is often during work.

And since most of them starts drinking when they are 18 and would be drinking until they are very old say 64, they would be drinking at least 47 840 cups of coffee.

Now, a daily brew or long black cost about $3, you multiple it by 47 840, you would have $143 520!

I do not know if you drink 4 cups per day, but if you do, you are likely to be spending that much. Enough to pay for the deposit for a small apartment in my country.

Since, it is the end of the week, have fun and worked out how much you would be spending based on the cups of coffee you are drinking per day!
