Espresso in coconut wins the latest Caffee Ritazza Barista Championship.

Last week, 8 baristas too part in the Caffe Ritazza world barista championship. It was organized by the Food travel group SSP and the competition took place in Rome.

The 8 baristas are:

Jurate Skarzauskaite (representing UK Air)

Matthew Roberts (UK Rail)

Samer Hassan (Sweden)

Dimitris Aggelis (Greece)

Li Ka Man (Hong Kong)

Zlatan Zilic (Denmark)

Thomas Pettersson (Norway)

Jean Philippe Mottaz (France)

And the Barista that won this championship is Jurate Skarzakaite, a barista working in East Midlands Airport. She is representing UK Air.

Her winning creation is a drink flavored with espresso coffee, coconut, bananas and served in coconuts on a "beach" of flowers and sea-shells.


Isn't that a very exotic expression of an espresso coffee?
