Coffee is actually a fruit.
How are they processed?
Raw coffee beans are found in the coffee cherry, green in color before roasting. They are processed and dried for roasting.
Because of the higher level of chlorogenic acid compared to roasted coffee beans, the green coffee beans are popular for weight loss program.
Washed Process:
Washed coffee allows the acidity to shine with a floral, sour, citrus fruit profile.
Honey Process:
Have a high level of mucilage on the beans with stronger sweetness and body of the coffee that has a wide range of flavor profiles that lean towards fruity notes.
Natural Process:
Increases the overall sweetness and acidity because of the attached mucilage and skin. Its flavor profile is fruity, winey, and fermented.
