Many are saying that it was a French man who attached a fine screen to his coffee pot so he wouldn’t get grounds in his cup when he poured and many in France adopted the idea and word spread to other countries.
When it came to Italy, Attilio Callimani fine tuned and came up with the idea to patent it.
