What Is A Latte?

Latte is made by combining a single or double shot of espresso (about one-third of your drink) with steamed milk and a thin layer (about one-third of your drink) of frothed milk to create an espresso-based drink.

Caffe latte is a type of coffee beverage that is made with espresso and steamed milk and is served hot, as the name suggests. "Coffee and milk" is an Italian phrase that can be translated as "coffee and milk" or simply "caffe latte".

Cappuccinos made in the traditional way have an even distribution of espresso, steamed milk, and foamed milk, and they are served with a wooden spoon to prevent spilling. In comparison to a cappuccino, a latte contains significantly more steamed milk and a light layer of foam. Layers distinguish cappuccinos from lattes, which are distinguished by the smooth blend of espresso and steamed milk that distinguishes them from one another.

When you drink espresso with foamed milk on top, you're drinking heaven in a cup. In the morning, nothing beats a good, old-fashioned latte. On the other hand, if you use whole milk, you may find that you end up going overboard on the fat and calories. If you're trying to cut back on your dairy consumption, consider switching to skim or 2 percent milk instead.

If you're following a low-carb diet or simply watching your carb intake, you don't have to give up your favorite latte, cappuccino, or mocha without feeling guilty. Simply substitute a cup of coffee for the lattes and blended drinks that are available (which contain very little actual coffee). Fill the cup halfway with a splash of cream or a dairy substitute, such as almond or soy milk, and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon if you're feeling particularly adventurous.

About US | OCM Profile

OCM (OnCoffeeMakers.com) was started in 2007 with the first webpage about coffee machines. And for a number of years, we focused on helping people find their desired coffee machine (we still are helping folks with that! So, if you are looking for coffee machines for office or restaurants - check out the link).

In 2010, we started getting enquiries on restaurant marketing and we start to help food and beverage brands with their marketing. Below are campaigns and events that we have done over the years:
