Descaling TASSIMO Small
Banner Descaling

If your Bosch TASSIMO coffee maker's red light comes on, it's time to descale it. A TASSIMO machine should be descaled four times a year at the very least. A thorough cleaning and descale of your machine takes about 30 minutes.

Keeping your machine clean and free of scale is essential if you want it to continue producing the high-quality beverages you enjoy. There is a risk of limescale buildup damaging coffee machines. Limescale, residue, and calcium deposits will be removed during the descaling cycle. It is imperative that you descale your machine if you want it to last longer and produce better-quality drinks. The red descale indicator light will flash when the machine needs to be descaled.

The descaling indicator light is usually located on the bottom of TASSIMO machines. In either case, it's a spray symbol or the word "calc." When the red light comes on or starts flashing, please begin the descaling process as soon as possible.

Using products specifically made for your TASSIMO coffee machine makes descaleing a breeze. It is recommended to use only TASSIMO by Bosch descaling tablets for TASSIMO by Bosch. Descalers based on vinegar or acetic acid should never be used, as they may damage your machine and alter the flavor of your drinks in the process. Take two tablets and dissolve them in the tank's water to descale the system. To ensure proper execution, please adhere to the procedures outlined above.

About US | OCM Profile

OCM (OnCoffeeMakers.com) was started in 2007 with the first webpage about coffee machines. And for a number of years, we focused on helping people find their desired coffee machine (we still are helping folks with that! So, if you are looking for coffee machines for office or restaurants - check out the link).

In 2010, we started getting enquiries on restaurant marketing and we start to help food and beverage brands with their marketing. Below are campaigns and events that we have done over the years:

OCM's campaigns: F&B Marketing Ideas by OCM

OCM's Events: F&B Industry events by or with OCM

Check out this restaurant marketing guide to learn more about the many campaigns and companies we have worked with.

Since then, we have also created many marketing workshops and classes for the F&B industry. Many of these modules are still running in tertiary institutions such as Temasek Polytechnic Skillsfuture Academy and also ITE College East COC classes, below are some snippets of our lectures and workshops:
