Situation of COVID-19 for Singapore Retailers:
Currently in Singapore, if you have a physical location, you will need to keep your location safe. You will need to take the temperature for your customers, ensure that they do the safe entry and practice safe distancing.
The measures to keep your company or outlet safe will require you to invest some manpower to ensure that all measures are in place, and it also decreases your traffic (controlled measures in malls).
What you are already doing:
To mitigate the reduction in traffic and sales, you likely already have your own online presence or list your products or services on one of the e-commerce sites.
It is a competitive space and you need to again spend advert dollars to drive traffic to your online assets and maybe pay commission to any sales from the e-commerce sites such as Q010, Foodpanda.
What can you do?
What if you can monetize and sell to the traffic that are in your vicinity (e.g. malls) that are doing their attendance taking, contract tracing, temperature taking?
What if as they go to every level, they continue to be traced and as they do that, they interact with your menu or products?
And if you are a landlord with many tenants, what if doing all these do not cost you anything yet, bring traffic to your tenants?
