What Kind Of Coffee Beans
For Espresso?

Medium to dark rost are the best espresso beans, since they are soluble and extracted faster. The oils are rich and help make a richer cream. They also give the great consistency, body and taste of the espresso you want.

An extraordinary shot of Espresso is the aroma, its pungence, good taste and its tingles. This is more than just a cup of coffee. It could be the best coffee you've ever had, if it is well done.

The best way to make traditional espresso, or at least a darker-medium grilled bean is through the dark roast. The lower temperatures of espresso extraction make coffee smoother.

One way is to purchase beans from one source, but don't overlook a good mix. Some beans are mixed from different regions to create the perfect balance between sweet and bitter. And just remember to check THE ROAST DATE.

In the case of espresso mixtures often benefit. Most beans in Arabica are made from espresso of one origin. The quality of these beans is more complex than the cheaper Robusta. In every growing region, Arabica beans are grown worldwide with somewhat different features.

Robust beans are more caffeinated and bitter – but it can benefit from espresso. That is why certain espresso mixtures comprise a small amount of Robusta beans, between 20 to 25 percent. Robusta beans are also higher in caffeine so that if you want a jolt, they've their virtues.

Whatever you choose for the espresso bean, ensure a fine grind is used. If there are too many big bulbs in your cream, try a thinner grind. In addition to finely grinding, you also have to ensure that the filter basket is tamped correctly.

About US | OCM Profile

OCM (OnCoffeeMakers.com) was started in 2007 with the first webpage about coffee machines. And for a number of years, we focused on helping people find their desired coffee machine (we still are helping folks with that! So, if you are looking for coffee machines for office or restaurants - check out the link).

In 2010, we started getting enquiries on restaurant marketing and we start to help food and beverage brands with their marketing. Below are campaigns and events that we have done over the years:
