Weird Espresso Experience

We just had coffee the other day during our noon break. Instead of going out, we opted to stay and have our coffee break in our own pantry where the vending machine was located.

It was newly installed vending machine but find it a little weird because it does not accept new coins.

We thought it was broken, as we were completing the dropping of the coins in the slot, it would not accept those coins that are like new.

It just wants the old and scarred coins and does not like the new ones.

So if I only have new coins I first step on them and stomp on them a little bit to scar them and they are good to go. Weird isn't it?
