I have been following Starbucks gourmet instant coffee Via and is amazed at their achievements.

For example, do you know that from the launch of Via to date is only 10 months?

And in a mere 10 months, they have managed to launched this coffee in US (home ground), Canada and even Japan.

Now, launching might not seems tough if you got the money, but their distribution is equally amazing!

Perhaps it is because I come from tiny Singapore, but within 10 months, Starbucks Via can be distributed in 37 000 locations is really a feat.

All these does not mean anything if sales is flat. Thing is within 10 months of launching, Via manages a $100 million dollar sales.

I thought the number is great by any account. Looks like not only is Starbucks putting all its efforts in marketing this coffee, people are liking it too...

Hmm...now, I am looking forward to hearing from the more seasoned players such as Nescafe, Maxwell house to see if their sales have been affected...
