The Vacuum Coffee Pot

I first saw a vacuum pot about 20 years ago. It had been stored in a friend's cupboard since 1975. It was a wedding present and they didn't know how to use it so it was put out of sight.
I was intrigued with the concept of vacuum pot coffee from that time and so I bought my first vacuum pot (Bodum) about three years ago. I have never encountered these pots in the shops here in Australia and if I break any of the components I will have to buy a new unit as I can't find any parts for these pots locally.
I find that coffee made with this pot is so "pure" with minuscule or no sediment. I must say that it is quicker to make than plunger coffee which can be quite "muddy" and so you must always be careful not to take the last sip from plunger-made coffee!
Coffee for 2 made in my vacuum pot takes about 6-8 minutes and it is sooo delicious!
Ps. I also own a Nespresso Citiz and I still like my vacuum pot!
