The first one I bought of this cuisinart brewer unit was a second hand unit which lasted less than three months and the pump stopped working.

I wrote to Cuisinart twice, and never received a call or letter from them.

I was angry, and purchased a second unit, first quality, new from a local supermarket thinking it was just bad luck.

Then it lasted for just 4 days! I was so mad I finally purchased a Krups stainless steel model that I did also, and have had no problems.

If you search the internet, you will see that there are many of this for sale as second hand. I think they have a problem with this unit, and cannot recommend this to anyone.

Sorry Cuisinart, if you have other products in your line, and will never buy another after this experience!
