Tucked amongst the lush greenery in the heart of Bukit Timah, Riders Café is housed in a black and white colonial building. The surrounding is serene and peaceful. The fans installed on the high ceilings make the place well ventilated and airy. Also, there was natural daylight aplenty when I was there. It is indeed a special place for those going for brunch in tiny and bustling Singapore.
Food wise, we ordered the Blackstone Benedict which consists of two poached eggs, back bacon, roma tomatoes, hollandaise and English muffin and Riders Burger with rocket, brie, relish, bacon, onions & seasoned fries. The burger was huge and juicy but had a slightly beefy smell that I didn’t quite like. For Blackstone Benedict, it was quite nice but I still prefer the egg benedict at Wild Honey. Overall, I enjoyed the brunch at Riders and prices were reasonable for the quality and the portion served.
It’s a good place to hang out when I need to be out with the nature! This place is very popular so making a reservation is highly recommended.
