my cuisinart ss-1 problem

Iam unable to use it. I just purchased it on E-bay. When plugged in, water tank filled, I press the on button and it beeps 3 beeps over and over.

I have checked the water reservoir and it is incorrectly and full. I tried to clean the head and it would not come down because of this problem..I thought I would try to decalcify it and I am unable to do this..also unable to make coffee.

All I get is beep beep beep....beep beep beep....beep beep beep, over and over. You get the picture.

Because it is a discontinued model Cuisinart will not help me.

Has any one else experienced this and if they have, were you able to fix it????

I've gone through all of the trouble shooting in the manual.
