Jalan Kayu Coffee

Kopi Tarik enjoyed here

I joined my friend on a holiday back to her home town in Singapore and was treated to many local delights. One of them being the coffee that is pulled instead of brewed! They call this "tarik". And coffee in their case is known as kopi. So, if you want, you would order a kopi tarik. And they told me the best place to have this authentic coffee is at Jalan kayu, which they told me in Malaya means stupid or silly. Interesting to name a place as such, don't you think so? Anyway, another delight of this place is the delicious pancake, which is known as prata. If you want to know my favorite coffee, then it would be kopi tarik at Jalan Kaya -oh did I mentioned that it is in Singapore?
