I’ll just purchase a new coffee machine that uses a coffee pod instead

I hate this machine. This is a waste of money for me. This machine is poorly designed and engineered.

In addition to the spilled grounds that other reviews on the internet mentioned, also the water canister has no gradations, so you have to measure the water beforehand which takes a lot of time and this is not a good thing.

If you set it for six cups but put in water for more than six cups, it uses all the water that you have put.

It also sucks up water when you pour it in, so it is very confusing to use, I hate it. It uses more coffee than any machine I ever owned.

I can't figure out why, but a pound used to last eight days; now it's gone in six. The carafe is another story of shame.

If you pour a cup of coffee without half of it winding up on the counter. Better do your pouring over the sink to save you from wiping your coffee off the floor.
