The Viv Vigano Kontessa is a stovetop espresso maker. There are a lot of espresso reviews about these "moka" pots.

They are used for quick brewing of full-flavored coffee on stovetop. They are not percolators, they actually brew under a mild pressure, forcing hot water up from the base through ground coffee then into the top carafe for a quick serving.

The Vev Vigano' Kontessa Inox Espresso Maker has a heavy gauge, polished 18/10 stainless steel body.

A polished stainless steel handle and lid knob, a stainless steel filter basket and a brass safety pressure release valve. This stovetop is made from Italy.
