Crying over the Melitta MEMB1's demise!

We LOVE our Melitta MEMB1 coffee maker. My son got a fancy, expensive Cuisanart for a wedding gift, but he, too, prefers his MEMB1.

However, we can no longer get parts and would like to get a new filter basket.

It cleans up well in the dishwasher, but eventually, the SS screening has come apart from the plastic.

We even went so far as to glue it, but we know our coffeemaker's days are numbered only because of the lack of being able to get a new filter basket. BOO HOO!
