I love coffee and always crave for a cuppa each morning. Coffee, a stimulating drink can energize me thru out the day and without having one cup a day, i would feel that my day is not complete.


I was born in the 19th century where high grade coffee was rather expensive. My 1st cup of coffee was given to me by my grandma. It was brewed in a traditional way where coffee powder was placed in a "stocking" and having hot water to be poured through it. My grandma would always prepare the freshly brewed coffee with a dash of condensed milk. It was.... (to be continued...)

A Personal Touch

Guess coffee really perks you up, given the tiredness seen in the photo...do get some rest, with the eyebags forming depicts long hours of work or you must have been slogging away...

I love the stocking way of preparing coffee... it gives a personal touch and the aroma is simply irresistable. My grandma also prepares coffee for me when she is still around. She will boil a pot of water, put the coffee powder in the stocking and pour the hot water through the coffee powder... that's when the coffee aroma comes from... it lifts up my spirits.. that's my type of coffee too...
