Canadians drink a lot of coffee, so Macdonalds is giving it to them free!

Macdonald Canada

9 out of 10 Canadians drink at least 1 cup of coffee per day, this is the results reported by Ipsos Reid that is conducting this survey on behalf of Macdonald's Canada.

Well, that goes to shows coffee is a very viable business in Canada right? In fact, the detailed findings would really spur you to start a coffee business:

1. Most of them drink at least 3 cups per day

2. Although most of them drink it at home, they still enjoyed drinking it in restaurants or cafes at least 3 times per week.

3. And more than 50% of Canadians stated that they have a hard time depriving themselves of coffee.

John Betts Canada Macdonald's Presidents say it right that Canadians are not only passionate about their coffee, it is almost an obsession.

So, they (Macdonal's) decided to see if they can have a match with this country obsession with their quality coffee.

What better way to win their trust and start a whole relationship by offering them premium roasted coffee for a whole two weeks!

The timing and execution of this promotion is so right. The whole country is out shopping for Christmas presents and Macdonald's with its gigantic distribution network would have the best reach during this festive season.

Of course, when you offers a free drink, you win consumer's trust, and that is the first step to starting a relationship.

In the coffee world, relationship is everything. If you are used to the coffee in that store, it doesn't matter if you have to walk another 5 minutes just to grab it right?

Of course, Macdonald's would make it easier to get their premium coffee -they are everywhere...
