A Simple Manual When Using Espresso Machines

by Andrei
(New Zealand)

I know some of us are a little intimidated when it comes to preparing espresso.

I know of some people who would rather go to a coffee shop to drink espresso than prepare a cup for themselves at home.

So here's a simple manual on how to make an espresso in six steps.

First of all, you need an espresso machine and preferably, a grinder, since freshly ground beans make the best coffee.

Second, pour water into the water tank of your machine. For a one shot espresso, use an ounce of coffee. For a two shot, use two ounces.

Third, place the coffee basket in the filter holder.

Fourth, brush off any grounds from the sides and top of the filter and place it in your coffee machine.

Fifth, place your carafe under the spout and turn the machine on. Now wait for the espresso to flow into your cup.

Once you see a white foam start to flow, it is time to turn the machine off.

And for the last step, enjoy your espresso!

Hope this helps.
