A Gold Tone Filter For Coffee Machines

by Brian
(Seattle, WA)

Don't you just hate it when you're planning to brew a cup of coffee, then to your horror you just find out that you have just run out of paper filters? I know I do.

I have just switched to a gold tone filter and it has eliminated all my filter woes. If you haven't, you should.

There are a lot of gold tone filters for just about any coffee machine out there.

Braun, Cuisinart, Krups, etc., are all selling gold tone filters that are compatible with their respective coffee makers.

What I find great about my gold tone filter is that my coffee actually tastes better when I use it. I researched about it and it so happens that paper filters leave a papery taste to the coffee.

Cleaning my gold tone filter is actually not bad. Mine doesn’t drip when I remove it and I just wash it by hand.

Gold tone filters are great. If there is one for your coffee machine I suggest that you try it. Sure, it's a lot more expensive than paper filters but you only need to buy one.

It will eventually pay for itself because there is no need to buy paper filters anymore.
