VivoCity, a pit stop for most tourist; and a beloved mall for locals. It has a huge range of shops, even brands you hardly see. It is one of the top five Malls of Singapore and enjoys a relatively good flow of traffic.
Today, we went down to Vivocity during their non-peak hours to their peak hears, to take a look at the difference in traffic flow for their FnB outlets.

As we observe the crowd was relatively strong even in the late morning, with pockets of customers in almost every stores, only a few had absolute zero customers.
Another thing to note, is the constant stream of customers for giant, fast food chains; such as Macdonalds, Starbucks, and the other common brands that offers affordable price tags for a simple lunch.
Whilst Toss & Turn salads, that serves higher end salads and sandwiches; only attracted more customers during the lunch hour, when the store received a higher traffic flow; as compared to their non-peak hour with only one or two customers.
Could it be the shops they have to offer, the location or the pricing of the menus that attracts such high traffic flow to their mall?
