4 cup coffee maker review on De Longhi

If you want my 4 cup coffee maker review, it would really be a personal one. Through all of the coffeemakers that I bought and used; as well as bits and pieces of what I would like to call as ‘coffee maker wisdom’ from friends and relatives, I was able to come with a realization that even the most basic of coffee makers can produce a good quality cup of coffee.

Now, if they are all good in making coffee then might as well stick to the cheapest brand or model, right? Wrong. There are just certain brands and models that stand out because of their added features which make them easy and convenient to use. And what is easy and convenient may vary from one coffee drinker’s need to another.

Because of this I’ve decided to write this 4 cup coffee maker review. Perhaps you’re wondering, why a 4 cup coffee maker review? It’s because 4 cups seem to be the minimum capacity for most coffeemakers.

For this particular coffee maker review, I will be focusing on the De Longhi Twenty Four Seven Coffee Maker - DC51TTB model. Just by the name itself you’ll know that this coffee maker is very dependable. Here are its features:

1. Easy-access removable filter basket, just open the flip-top lid and take the filter basket out.

2. Built-in cord storage. Minimizes accidents around the kitchen.Non-stick plate, for easy cleanup.

3. Shower head design helps extract the coffee's full, natural flavor by allowing water to completely saturate all coffee grounds.

4. Brew pause and serve function allows you to interrupt the brewing cycle and pour a cup of coffee.

5. Automatic shut-off, once brewing is complete.

A brushed stainless-steel double-wall thermal travel mug-carafe with a 4-cup (20 oz.) capacity lets you enjoy fresh-brewed coffee wherever you go. The contoured lip is specifically designed so you can either pour coffee or drink directly from the thermal travel mug-carafe. Plus, the unique double-wall design keeps coffee hot for hours.

The handy car cup-holder adapter with slip-free grip easily attaches to the base of the thermal travel mug-carafe for the on-the-go coffee drinker.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this model is one of the top 10 coffee makers of the De Longhi brand. During my research I found out that it is most often out of stock amongst all the on-line stores. And why it wouldn’t be? Selling at mostly $30, I’m sure a lot of people are really after this product.

Although, I did find a few stores sell it at $60 and one overpricing store for $150. Can you believe that? I think for that amount I can already buy myself a double coffee maker or coffee maker latte or maybe both.

Perhaps for my next review, I would focus on a particular Saeco coffee maker. Saeco coffee makers are quite expensive compared to this De Longhi 4 cup coffee maker review but I would like to see if its features make up for the price.
